October 21st, 2024 – Vision welcomes Dr. Ning Wang, PhD, as Head of Strategy and Finance for Greater China and the Far East. Dr. Wang has an impressive track record in biotechnology and a fantastic career in private equity.

July 12th, 2024 – Vision proudly welcomes Professor Giovanni Succo as a member of its Advisory team. Professor Succo is the President of the European Head and Neck Society and one of the most influential and recognized surgeons and researchers in the head and neck cancer field. In his background, we record more than 8.300 interventions as the first operator, over 120 peer-reviewed publications.

Giovanni brings to Vision his outstanding experience and know-how as a surgeon and a unique attitude toward research and technology: he will lead Vision in creating a device that will dramatically change the perspectives of oncologists and patients.

June 18th, 2024 – Vision proudly welcomes Professor Giovanni Baldi as a member of its Advisory team. Professor Baldi’s extensive contributions to the field of nanomaterials research and development, including over 150 peer-reviewed publications, 25 international patents, and two books, have earned him recognition as one of the most esteemed European experts in the field.

His profound knowledge and experience will undoubtedly accelerate our pipeline’s development. Notably, his unique ability to bridge the gap between laboratory excellence and industrial manufacturing will play a pivotal role in Vision’s mission to harness the incredible potential of Nanoparticles for the benefit of patients.

May 15th, 2024 – Vision announces the results of the preclinical study “NBR21: New Device Set-Up and Radiation Schedule Selection for Antitumor Efficacy Evaluation after Intratumoral Injection in DETROIT-562 Subcutaneous Pharynx Cancer Model in Athymic Nude Mice”. The study, run by Accelera in Nerviano (Italy), focused on Nanoradox efficacy and the measurement of the temperature into the tumor mass and in the surrounding space, showed that “the administration of NBR21, followed by radiation session, induced a progressive delay in tumor growth during the treatment period, that was maintained also in the observation period.” The results achieved are notably meaningful since the strong inhibition effect comes with a very “gentle” hyperthermia and great safety for the patient.

Il Politecnico e Vision S.p.A. hanno avviato un rapporto di partnership nel campo della ricerca oncologica, con focus specifico sullo studio e progettazione di un sistema di ipertermia a radiofrequenze per applicazioni in oncologia.

Per la prima volta in Italia il Congresso mondiale della International Federation of Head and Neck Oncologic Societies. A Roma fino al 25 giugno 1.500 esperti per approfondire i progressi nelle cure. Il Presidente del Congresso Giuseppe Spriano: “Rappresentano il 17% di tutte le neoplasie, interessano organi diversi e sono difficili da trattare. Negli ultimi 30 anni, è stato esponenziale l’incremento del carcinoma orofaringeo per la trasmissione del Papilloma virus per via sessuale. Tecniche chirurgiche innovative evitano interventi mutilanti e danni estetici. Radioterapia, immunoterapia e chemioterapia migliorano la sopravvivenza”.
